The story is about a lonely and neglected child Bittu whose father is a very busy man. Bittu is taken care of by nannies and guards who not only try to save him but also scare him. Because of their behaviour they are discontinued by his teacher Shalu.

Uncle appoints Sunil a jail bird to get the child from school. He disguises himself as a school teacher and finds that another jail bird Vijay has also come to kidnap the child.

The two fear each other because they would expose each others reality. If one tries to get Bittu the other leaves no stone unturned for its failure leading to many hilarious situations. In the process Shalu falls in love with Sunil and Anju the daughter of the principal falls in love with Vijay. The two try to make use of their love to kidnap Bittu. But they come to the conclusion that the girls are an obstruction to their goal so the two heartless jail birds avoid the girls mercilessly by another false drama.

But were they really heartless...? No because at one stage not only do they forget their enmity but also help each other and join hands to fight with the culprit Uncle to save Bittu. And thus they really win the hearts of Bittu and the girls.
